Swedish Pancake Breakfast
      When: Sunday, November 2nd.  (8:00am - 1:30pm)
      Where: Swedish Cultural Center (1920 Dexter Avenue North)
      What: Swedish Pancake Breakfast including: pancakes with lingon or strawberries, ham, milk, coffee, orange juice, and seconds.

Scandinavian Holiday Bazaar
      When: Sat/Sun Oct 31/Nov 1.  9am-5pm.
      Where: Swedish Cultural Center (1920 Dexter Avenue North)
      What: Three floors of Scandinavian gifts, antiques, baked goods!

Swedish Meatball Dinner & Movie Night!

When: Thursday, October 16th, 6pm
Where: Radford Court: 6301 65th Avenue NE Apt #1322 (building 13)
What: We're having an informal Swedish meatball dinner and movie night at Sarah's apartment to kick off the quarter!  Everyone, new and old is welcome!  We'll be watching Zozo, a fantastic Swedish film about a boy who immigrates from Lebanon to Sweden.  Don't worry if you're new to Swedish, we'll have English subtitles on!  E-mail Sarah at mccons@u.washington.edu if you have any questions!

Thanks to all of you that participated in our first Kubb Tournament!  Congratulations to Ethan, MVP of the game, who took home the fabulous trophy!  Special thanks to Mark Säfström and Sarah Hammarlund for providing kubb sets!  We plan on having more kubb tournaments in the future, so don’t be too upset if you missed it this time around!
